QA Engineer – Web & Mobile

About the Role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across the complete software development lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend, and Backend Developers to understand requirements, identify issues early, and ensure the final product is reliable, functional, and ready for release.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just find bugs — you understand the product, think like a user, and take ownership of product quality.

What You’ll Do

- Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Test complete user workflows and identify edge cases and failure scenarios.
- Test complex workflows, transaction lifecycles, and real-time status tracking features.
- Test web and mobile applications across different devices, browsers, environments, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Validate mobile scenarios including app installation, updates, permissions, notifications, foreground/background states, and app lifecycle behaviour.
- Test mobile applications under different network conditions, including slow, unstable, and offline scenarios.
- Validate orientation changes, deep links, device interruptions, and device-specific behaviour, where applicable.
- Perform mobile regression testing across supported devices before releases.
- Perform REST API testing using Postman and validate backend responses.
- Validate frontend, API, backend, and database data flow.
- Perform SQL/database validation.
- Test third-party API integrations, including mapping, geospatial, tracking, and external partner services.
- Identify, document, prioritize,



and track bugs through resolution.
- Manage QA tickets, test execution, and bug lifecycles using Azure DevOps.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and release planning.
- Perform UAT, release regression, and production validation.
- Maintain QA documentation and testing processes.
- Identify gaps in the testing process and suggest improvements.
- Take ownership of QA for assigned features and releases.
- Contribute to the automation of critical workflows.

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA / Software Testing.
- Strong experience testing web applications.
- Hands-on experience testing Android and/or iOS applications across multiple devices and OS versions.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with REST API testing and Postman.
- Good understanding of SQL/database testing.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including Azure Boards and Test Plans.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Solid understanding of mobile testing scenarios, including device compatibility, network conditions, permissions, notifications, and app lifecycle.
- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and identify edge cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with Product, Design, Frontend, and Backend teams.
- Strong attention to detail.

Bonus Points If You Have

- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience with mobile automation such as Appium.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to performance/load testing for high-concurrency applications.
- Experience working with SaaS, logistics, transportation, or workflow-heavy applications.
- Experience testing complex real-time or transaction-based systems.
