Roles and Responsibilities

- Incoming material inspection as per drawing and standards (QAP)

- Inspection of sub-assemblies and spares as per GAD, P&ID;, or BOM

- Problem-solving using quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, Why-Why Analysis, and 8D

- NC preparation and management with CAPA and closure

- Calibration of monitoring and measuring instruments as per plan and maintaining records for the same

- Documentation and record-keeping of inspected parts as per QMS

- Monitor and verify surface treatment processes such as bead blasting, powder coating quality, and painting, and maintain inspection records

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production,



and Design teams to address quality concerns during inspection and continual improvement

Essential Skills Required

- Inspection of machining components - Inspection methods and techniques

- Problem-solving skills

- Hands-on experience in using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.

- Awareness of raw material standards such as ISO, ASME, ASTM, and DIN

- Very positive documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

- VMC, HMC, and CNC machining process knowledge

- CMM inspection

- Engineering drawing and GD&T; understanding

- Adaptability, flexibility, teamwork, and collaboration
