Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure that products and manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards, customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.

The candidate will work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Purchase, and Operations teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of manufactured components, assemblies, Jigs & Fixtures, SPMs, and automation-related parts.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T;, and quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other inspection equipment.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, check sheets, and documentation.
- Identify non-conformities (NCR) and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective action.
- Support Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate with Design and Manufacturing teams regarding drawing, tolerance, fitment, and manufacturing-related quality issues.
- Verify incoming materials/components from suppliers whenever required.
- Conduct first-piece,



in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure traceability and proper documentation of inspection results.
- Support customer inspection and resolve quality-related queries.
- Maintain calibration status of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Ensure compliance with company QMS procedures and quality requirements.

Preferred Skills
- Positive knowledge of Mechanical Drawings & GD&T;
- Knowledge of Jigs & Fixtures, SPMs, machining, fabrication, and mechanical assemblies
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and basic problem-solving tools
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
