Role Description

This is a full time, remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer, open to candidates based in India. The person in this role will design, document, and execute test cases to validate product features, user flows, and system integration points. Daily tasks include:

- Performing manual testing
- Tracking and reproducing defects
- Collaborating with developers to clarify requirements
- Verifying fixes in multiple environments

The Quality Assurance Engineer will also help maintain test data, contribute to test plans, and ensure that software releases meet defined quality standards.



The role involves communicating test results clearly, suggesting improvements to testing processes, and supporting regression and smoke testing for new and existing functionality. Location: Remote (India-based candidates only)

Experience: 2+ years

Compensation: ₹3–5 LPA, depending on experience

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
- Strong skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and Test Execution
- Ability to design, maintain, and review detailed Test Cases
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools, version control, and basic test management platforms
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, and common software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile or Scrum)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to identify edge cases and usability issues
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report issues and findings concisely
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams
