Role Description The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer internship is a remote role focused on supporting the reliability and performance of Wedding Duo’s digital platforms and tools. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing test cases, collaborating with developers and product stakeholders to understand requirements, and performing manual and automated testing of new features and updates. The intern will help identify, document, and track defects, contribute to improving test coverage, and assist in building and maintaining automated test suites.





This internship offers exposure to software testing practices in a real-world workplace, with opportunities to learn QA processes and contribute to a growing technology-enabled events business.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with an interest in best practices and testing methodologies.
- Ability to design, organize, and execute clear and comprehensive Test Cases.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Manual Testing for web or mobile applications.
- Basic understanding of QA Automation concepts and willingness to learn automation frameworks and tools.
- Comfort working with issue-tracking tools and documenting defects in a structured, detail-oriented manner.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
