Job Title: Quality Analyst – AI & Playwright Automation (Shopify)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Analyst with 3–5 years of Software QA experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead our test automation efforts, build scalable Playwright test frameworks, and leverage AI-driven testing tools and AI agents to optimize QA processes, increase productivity, and ensure flawless e-commerce releases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Perform functional, regression, API, end-to-end, and cross-browser testing for e-commerce/Shopify platforms.
- Leverage AI tools and AI agent frameworks to automate test case generation, bug analysis, workflow validation, and reporting.
- Document and track defects through standard defect management tools while working closely with developers and product managers.
- Estimate test timelines, participate in sprint planning, and prepare daily status updates.

Required Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance experience.




- 2–3 years of experience testing Shopify applications and e-commerce workflows.
- Solid automation experience using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Practical experience using AI-powered tools or LLMs (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Copilot, Cursor) to automate QA processes.
- Strong background in API testing, web testing, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
