Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer (QE) / Test Automation Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing and exposure to the US Healthcare Payer domain . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, API Testing, SQL Validation , and healthcare application testing. This role offers an excellent prospect to work on enterprise healthcare platforms while building expertise in test automation and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca .
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Support testing of Healthcare Payer applications covering Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, and Care Management modules.
- Validate healthcare data and EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 278 .
- Execute REST/SOAP API testing and backend database validation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Participate in defect triage, test planning, and release validation activities.
- Contribute to maintaining automation frameworks and QA best practices.

Must-Have Skills





- 2 to 5 years of experience in QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca .
- Experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Strong SQL skills for database validation.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC processes.
- Exposure to US Healthcare Payer applications or healthcare domains.
- Knowledge of EDI transaction testing ( 834, 837, 835, 270/271, 278 ) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Healthcare platforms such as Facets, QNXT, HealthRules Payor (HRP), or GuidingCare .
- Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, X12 , and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines .
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators.
- Certification in Tosca, Selenium, or Healthcare Testing is an added advantage.

Location: Bangalore / Chennai Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Work Mode: Hybrid

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or serving notice period less than 45 days.
