Executive – Quality Control & Product Development

Location: Mumbai

Salary: ₹30,000–35,000 per month

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Science

We are looking for an Executive – Quality Control & Product Development to handle quality testing, colour matching, material evaluation, and new product development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct testing of plastics, pigments, and packaging materials.
- Perform colour matching using a Benchtop Spectrophotometer.
- Test plastic properties, flowability, and pigment properties as per specifications.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) activities.
- Ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain QC/QA procedures, records, and documentation.
- Prepare quality reports, test reports, dashboards, and related documents.
- Identify quality issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quality and product development activities.
- Maintain testing material stock and inventory.




- Follow Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of plastic/material testing and pigment testing.
- Experience in colour matching; spectrophotometer experience preferred.
- Understanding of QC/QA procedures and product development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
- Knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, and Google Workspace.

Preferred Candidate
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Control, Product Development, Plastics, Packaging, Pigments, Cosmetics, FMCG, or related manufacturing.
- Experience in plastic/material testing and colour matching.
- Packaging or cosmetics/FMCG industry exposure will be preferred.
- Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
