Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Engineer - QS Billing Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities while managing quantity surveying, billing, and project cost control. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures at project sites.
- Conduct inspections and ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for inspections and approvals.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and statutory standards.
- Prepare client bills, subcontractor bills, and vendor bill certifications.
- Measure quantities as per approved drawings and site progress.
- Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, cost estimates, and quantity reconciliations.
- Identify, prepare, and submit variation orders (VOs) and additional claims.
- Monitor project costs and support budget control activities.
- Coordinate with project, planning, procurement,



and finance teams for billing and payment processes.
- Prepare project progress reports, billing summaries, and MIS reports.

Qualifications

- Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, Quantity Surveying, and Billing for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, billing procedures, BOQs, and contract documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing/estimation software is preferred.
- Solid analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC procedures, and construction quality standards.
- Experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, and project cost management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.
