About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Lead to own automation and quality engineering for a consumer-facing travel technology platform. This is primarily an individual contributor role with responsibility for mentoring a small QA team and driving automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain automation frameworks for Web, Android & iOS.
- Develop automated tests across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Work with Playwright/Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
- Design performance and concurrency testing using JMeter or k6.
- Test third-party integrations including payment gateways, booking APIs, webhooks, and notification services.
- Own regression testing, defect triage, release readiness, and quality standards.
- Identify performance bottlenecks across backend services and APIs.




- Mentor 2–3 QA engineers and contribute to test strategy and automation roadmaps.
- Use AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.

Requirements

- 8–10 years of QA/testing experience with 4+ years in automation.
- 2+ years of QA Lead/technical leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and JMeter/k6.
- Experience testing scalable mobile and web applications.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, performance, and E2E testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain hands-on with automation.
