Role Summary

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI). Collaborate with frontend and QA teams for integration, debugging, and support in a medical domain environment.

What Youll Do

- Develop backend services and APIs using Python 3.10, FastAPI, and Uvicorn
- Design, validate, and maintain routes, handle dependencies, and implement async processing and operational logging
- Create or maintain BFF layers to support frontend workflows
- Ensure robust REST API design, validation, error handling, integration testing, and service-to-service calls
- Debug and resolve product issues across backend, APIs, logs, databases, and deployment states
- Collaborate with product, QA, and development teams to ensure alignment and quality
- Implement and maintain unit, API, and integration tests, including realistic product scenario checks

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Solid Python development experience, especially with backend services or API-oriented applications




- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Uvicorn
- Experience in BFF layer development and adapting backend/domain services for front-end workflows
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, data validation, error handling, and backend integration testing
- Familiarity with microservice architectures
- Ability to debug across backend, API, database, and deployment
- Practical experience with unit, API, and integration testing

Valuable to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Angular v17 experience for integrating BFF routes and front-end debugging
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (pods, services, deployment troubleshooting)
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for Python services
- Experience in product support post-initial delivery (QA collaboration, root-cause analysis, triage)
- Understanding of authentication/session handling and multi-user scenarios
- Familiarity with scientific, device-driven, or laboratory workflows
