Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for elevator components, materials, and services. This role includes reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, and negotiating prices and terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

The Purchasing

Executive will coordinate with engineering, production,



and service teams to understand requirements, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support project timelines. Daily tasks also involve monitoring vendor performance, resolving discrepancies in orders and deliveries, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Management and Procurement, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, with accuracy in documentation and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors and prepare clear reports.
- Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction sectors (elevators or similar engineering products preferred).
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic contract terms, taxation, and procurement-related compliance.
