Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement, inventory planning, and vendor management operations from Mumbai. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships with domestic and international consumable suppliers, maintain optimal stock levels across key product categories, and execute end-to-end procurement workflows accurately in Tally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchase Management

- Oversee end-to-end procurement of narrow/wide web flexo consumables, including inks, specialty adhesive tapes, industrial chemicals, and pressroom auxiliaries.
- Process Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Requisitions, and Commercial Invoices accurately in Tally.
- Negotiate commercial terms, credit lines, volume discounts, and delivery schedules with local and multinational suppliers.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and clearing agents for smooth material movement and inward transport into company warehouses.

1. Inventory Planning & Control

- Monitor re-order levels (ROL), safety stock, and lead times to ensure uninterrupted stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Track shelf life and batch details of chemical consumables (inks, primers, adhesives)



to prevent stock expiry and wastage.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with Tally inventory records.

1. Tally Accounting & Documentation

- Generate, update, and audit all Purchase Vouchers, Debit Notes, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and Supplier Ledgers in Tally.
- Reconcile vendor accounts quarterly and resolve invoice/pricing discrepancies prior to payment processing.
- Coordinate with the internal finance team to ensure timely GST-compliant invoicing, E-Way bills, and input tax credit (ITC) tracking for inward goods.

1. Vendor Relationship Management

- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring strict compliance with quality, packaging, and safety standards.
- Conduct annual vendor performance reviews based on delivery lead times, product defect rates, and pricing competitiveness.

Required Candidate Profile & Skills

- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Material Management.
- Industry Background: Direct experience in Printing & Packaging Consumables, Specialty Chemicals, Industrial Tapes/Adhesives, or Polymer Manufacturing preferred.
- Software Expertise: Advanced operational hands-on fluency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 (Purchase module, inventory/batch management, GST compliance) is mandatory.
- Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), Supply Chain, or Materials Management.
- Key Skills: Commercial negotiation, inventory forecasting, vendor evaluation, GST/taxation documentation, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Location & Language: Based in Mumbai; fluent in English and Hindi (Marathi is an added advantage for local coordination).

Compensation & Advantages

- Fixed Salary: Competitive CTC based on experience and past drawn salary.
- Performance Bonus: Annual incentive tied to cost savings, inventory accuracy, and vendor negotiation metrics.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
