Purchase Executive Store Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day purchasing activities and support smooth store operations. The role involves vendor coordination, material procurement, inventory management, and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase & Procurement

- Handle day-to-day purchase requirements for raw materials, packaging materials, bottles, consumables, and other business requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Compare quotations and negotiate with vendors wherever required.
- Prepare and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain purchase and vendor records.

Store & Inventory

- Support day-to-day store activities including material receipt, storage, and movement.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available as per requirements.
- Maintain accurate inward, outward, and inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

Material Planning & Coordination





- Coordinate with production and operations teams to understand material requirements.
- Plan purchases based on stock levels and upcoming requirements.
- Follow up on incoming materials and coordinate with vendors in case of delays or discrepancies.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain purchase, vendor, and inventory-related documentation.
- Prepare basic purchase and stock reports using MS Excel.
- Coordinate with Accounts and other teams for purchase-related documentation.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Stores, Inventory, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Food, or Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Valuable communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working with MS Excel and inventory/purchase systems.
- Organized, proactive, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
