Job Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer / Purchase Executive with relevant experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, vendor management, material sourcing, negotiations and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source raw materials, components, consumables and other required materials.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor purchase orders, material availability and delivery status.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and other internal teams.
- Maintain vendor records,



purchase documentation and related records.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing and delivery.
- Resolve procurement-related discrepancies, delays and supply issues.
- Prepare and maintain purchase MIS and procurement reports.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with business requirements and budgets.

Mandatory Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Experience in the plastic industry is mandatory.
- Diploma or Graduate qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Solid vendor management, sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and purchase operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts.
- Candidates should be available for an immediate interview.

Note: This role requires candidates with relevant experience in the plastic industry. Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
