PRT (Class 1) – Female

About the Role:

American Montessori Public School, Gurugram, a CBSE-affiliated Senior Secondary School, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher (PRT) – Female for Class 1. The ideal candidate should have robust communication skills, excellent English proficiency, and the ability to deliver engaging, activity-based learning aligned with NEP 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach and manage Class 1 students following the CBSE curriculum.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate and activity-based lessons.
3. Use phonics-based teaching methods to develop early reading and language skills.
4. Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, worksheets and presentations.
5. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
6. Use Smart Board, PPT and MS Office for teaching and classroom activities.
7. Encourage students' academic, social and creative development.
8.



Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate academic records.
9. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
10. Follow school policies and teaching practices aligned with NEP 2020.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Graduation with B.Ed.
2. 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the primary level.
3. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
4. Strong knowledge of phonics and activity-based teaching.
5. Good computer knowledge, including MS Office, PowerPoint (PPT) and Smart Board.
6. Valuable handwriting and strong classroom management skills.
7. CTET qualification preferred.
8. Female candidates preferred.
