ITM Vocational University, Vadodara

ITM Vocational University, Vadodara has constituted a Search Committee under Section 15(1) of the Gujarat Private Universities Act to recommend a panel of suitable candidates for appointment as the Provost of the University.

The Provost will be the principal academic and administrative leader of the University, responsible for promoting academic excellence, institutional development, and effective management of academic operations.

The role requires an accomplished academic qualified with a strong educational background, significant experience as per applicable UGC norms, and a proven track record of academic achievements, research contributions, administration, and industry engagement.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate dynamic, proactive, and visionary leadership, with the ability to strengthen the University's academic framework, enhance its reputation, and contribute towards its national and international growth.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Academic qualifications and experience as per UGC norms.
- Demonstrated excellence in academics, research, administration, and industry engagement.
- Strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking,



and a clear vision for the University's growth and development.

Tenure: The tenure for the post of Provost is 3 (three) years.

- Detailed Resume/CV of the applicant (in triplicate).
- Names and details of referees.
- Details of relevant academic research, publications, and administrative experience.
- A brief note (not exceeding 500 words) on Why the applicant considers himself/herself suitable for the position.”
- Three recent passport-sized photographs.
