Role Overview

Looking for a Project Planner with strong experience in project planning and Primavera P6 scheduling for large and complex EPC projects. The role will be responsible for developing Level 3 project schedules, detailed engineering schedules and manufacturing execution schedules, monitoring progress and supporting overall project management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Level 3 EPC project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare detailed engineering schedules and manufacturing execution schedules.
- Break down project plans into detailed activities, milestones and work packages and track planned vs. actual progress.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Quality and Project Management teams to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor manufacturing/fabrication activities, material availability, inspections, testing and dispatch against project schedules.
- Identify schedule delays and risks and support recovery planning and mitigation actions.
- Track weekly progress, task closures and schedule deviations and prepare project progress reports.




- Support resource planning and allocation across project activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and internal teams for timely completion of activities.
- Support project managers in overall project planning, execution and review.
- Lead/coordinate the planning team and ensure effective schedule monitoring.
- Travel to the manufacturing facility in Mangalore as required.

Must-Have Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Project Planning / Project Controls.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Experience in developing Level 3 EPC schedules.
- Experience in both Detailed Engineering Planning and Manufacturing Execution Planning.
- Positive understanding of fabrication/manufacturing project execution and shop-floor activities.
- Experience in progress monitoring, planned vs. actual tracking and schedule control.
- Team handling experience.
- Experience in large EPC, engineering, fabrication or process equipment projects.

Preferred

- Experience in pressure vessels, process equipment, piping, modules or heavy engineering projects.
- Experience with manufacturing/fabrication units.
- MS Project knowledge.
- PMP certification.
- Willingness to travel to Mangalore on a need basis.
