G M Fabrics is hiring " Project Manager" who will be responsible to setup Wallpaper Business Unit in Mumbai.

Base Location: Marol, Andheri(East)

Job Role

- Lead end-to-end wallpaper product development and project execution from concept to commercial production.
- Identify and implement suitable wallpaper printing, coating, finishing and converting technologies.
- Coordinate with Design, R&D;, Production, Quality, Purchase, Sales and external technology partners.
- Develop new wallpaper constructions, textures, finishes and performance-based products.
- Work on digital printing, gravure/rotogravure, coating, embossing, lamination and surface-finishing processes.
- Set up and optimise production processes, including machine trials, sampling, recipe/process development and scale-up.
- Establish quality standards, testing parameters and production SOPs.
- Evaluate machinery, raw materials, inks, coatings, substrates and technology suppliers.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, trials and commercialisation milestones.
- Troubleshoot technical and production issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Support development of collections suitable for India and international/export markets.




- Ensure compliance with applicable international wallpaper safety, quality and performance standards.

Education, Experience and Skillsets:

- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Textile, Chemical, Printing, Polymer or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in wallpaper, digital printing, surface finishing, decorative surfaces, textiles or a related manufacturing industry.
- Solid hands-on understanding of digital printing, coating, embossing, lamination and finishing technologies.
- Experience in setting up new products/processes or a new manufacturing business/project will be preferred.
- Strong project management, vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience with international/export products and customer requirements will be an advantage.
