We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager with 4–5 years of experience in managing software development projects from initiation through delivery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, stakeholder management, team coordination, risk management, delivery tracking, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with engineering, QA, UI/UX, product, and business teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

- Own and manage end-to-end software development projects from initiation to successful delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Track project progress against timelines, scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Identify dependencies and ensure timely resolution of project blockers.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed SLAs and client expectations.

Team Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure explicit allocation of tasks and responsibilities across project teams.
- Monitor team capacity, workload, productivity, and delivery commitments.
- Support teams in resolving technical and operational dependencies.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for project-related communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear progress updates.
- Manage expectations regarding timelines, scope, priorities, and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and metrics.
- Proactively communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to stakeholders.





Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Maintain project RAID logs covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive them toward resolution.
- Manage scope changes and assess their impact on timelines and resources.
- Ensure proper change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Agile & Delivery Management
- Drive Agile/Scrum-based project execution.
- Work closely with Product Owners/Managers to maintain and prioritize product backlogs.
- Track sprint velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, and other delivery metrics.
- Ensure sprint commitments are realistic and achievable.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including:
- Project plans
- Sprint plans
- Status reports
- RAID logs
- Meeting minutes
- Risk and issue trackers
- Release plans
- Project dashboards
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare weekly/monthly project reports for management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in Project Management within an IT/software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing cross-functional software development teams.
- Strong understanding of project planning, estimation, scheduling, and delivery management.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.




- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Strong ownership and accountability for project outcomes.

Technical / Tools Knowledge

Experience with one or more of the following tools is preferred:

- Jira
- Confluence
- Azure DevOps
- Trello
- Asana
- Microsoft Project
- ClickUp
- Slack / Microsoft Teams
- Google Workspace / Microsoft Office

Good understanding of software technologies such as:
- Web & Mobile Application Development
- APIs & Microservices
- Cloud Platforms – AWS / Azure / GCP
- Databases
- CI/CD and DevOps concepts
- QA & Testing processes
- AI/ML and emerging technologies – added advantage

Note: The candidate is not required to be a hands-on developer but should have sufficient technical understanding to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
