About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager – Civil to lead and manage construction projects from planning and execution through completion and handover.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with proven experience handling residential developments, government projects, high-rise buildings, and luxury villas. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, budgets, timelines, quality, and site execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the required standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from pre-construction through completion and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective action where required.
- Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, finishing, and external development works.
- Ensure effective sequencing and coordination of various construction activities.
Site & Construction Management
- Provide overall leadership to site teams, engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Review construction methodologies and ensure proper execution at site.
- Monitor productivity, manpower, material utilization, and equipment deployment.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues in coordination with consultants and design teams.
- Ensure proper coordination between structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
Project Controls & Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets, BOQs, quantities, variations, and costs.
- Review contractor bills, measurements, work orders, and material requirements.
- Identify potential cost overruns and delays and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor project cash flow and expenditure against approved budgets.
- Evaluate variations, additional works, and claims in coordination with the commercial team.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, drawings, and applicable codes.
- Establish and monitor quality-control procedures throughout the project.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
- Ensure strict compliance with site safety requirements and statutory regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
Client, Consultant & Government Coordination
- Act as the primary project-level point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with government authorities and statutory agencies wherever required.
- Manage project meetings and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management/client.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Reporting
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Maintain project records, progress reports, approvals, RFIs, inspection records, and correspondence.
- Track project milestones and provide regular updates on schedule, cost, quality, and risks.
- Ensure proper documentation for project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Required Project Experience Candidates should ideally have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
- Residential apartment projects
- High-rise residential buildings
- Luxury villas and premium residences
- Government construction/infrastructure projects
- Large-scale residential developments
- RCC framed structures and structural works
- Architectural finishing and high-end interior coordination
- MEP coordination and integrated building services
- External development and infrastructure works
Experience managing projects involving multiple contractors, consultants, government authorities, and high-value clients will be an advantage. Key Skills & Competencies

Educational & Experience Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 8–15 years of relevant construction/project management experience.
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Candidates with experience in high-rise residential, luxury villas, government projects, or premium real estate developments will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, project planning, contracts, quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager who combines strong civil engineering expertise with practical project leadership skills.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working between the site, consultants, contractors, clients, senior management, and government authorities, and should have a demonstrated ability to deliver projects within time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.
