Project Engineering Manager - Transmission Line Roles and Responsibilities Preparation of engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design. Design as per relevant codes and standards. Optimize overall weight of tower and foundation with respect to tender quantity.
Perform
Sag tension calculation. Provide approximate weight of tower at tender stage. Protected and optimized designing of tower. Timely completion of designing of transmission line towers and foundations. Support client for engineering activities.
Design of transmission tower, with use of PLS Tower software of transmission line design. Submission of transmission tower design within time limit. Approval of designs without major comments. Successful type testing of towers.
Provide support to team for any engineering work.
Provide guidance to team and coaching to the team to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles. Ensure training and continuous learning of team.
Handling interpersonal conflicts promotes collaboration and respect among the team. Smooth communication with stakeholders.
Educational Qualification: B. Tech / BE – Civil Experiences : 7-15 years of work experience in design of transmission tower and foundation. Knowledge of standards and codes relevant to transmission line engineering. Knowledge of PLS Tower software. Knowledge of STAAD will be preferrable Experience Level Senior Level
