Role: The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful technical delivery of mining equipment solutions by coordinating engineering activities and aligning standardized products with project-specific requirements. This role serves as a critical link between Product Business Line and project execution, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet customer expectations, quality standards, and schedule commitments. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong technical acumen, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global workplace.

Responsibilities

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously (10+), ensuring timely and high-quality technical delivery.
- Act as the primary technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Review project specifications and sales order documents to define scope, engineering objectives, and deliverables.
- Adapt standardized mining products and solutions to meet project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Manage and resolve technical queries, deviations, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support procurement activities by providing technical evaluations, vendor clarifications, and documentation.
- Make independent decisions with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with project scope.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications

- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in mining equipment, bulk material handling, or heavy industrial systems.
- Familiarity with global project execution and working across diverse cultures and regions.
- Experience with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com).
- Demonstrated experience supporting procurement and vendor management processes.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.

Education Qualification
