Project Engineer – Chiller Projects

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / HVAC or equivalent technical qualification

Job Objective To independently execute and manage HVAC chiller projects from project commencement to completion, ensuring timely execution, quality, safety, technical compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and execute chiller HVAC projects from start to handover.
- Must have hands-on experience in chiller installation, commissioning and project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
- Study drawings, BOQ, specifications and project requirements.
- Supervise installation of chillers, pumps, piping, valves, AHUs, cooling towers and associated HVAC systems.
- Coordinate CHW piping, condenser water piping and low-side HVAC works.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and site requirements.
- Ensure materials are issued and utilised as per BOQ and project requirements.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, balancing and performance checks.
- Identify and resolve technical/site issues during execution.
- Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety procedures.




- Coordinate with the service/commissioning team during final testing and handover.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed time, cost and quality parameters.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience specifically in chiller project execution.
- Candidates must have a strong technical background in HVAC chiller projects.
- Experience in chiller installation, piping, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs and commissioning is essential.
- Should be capable of independently handling project sites.
- Good knowledge of HVAC drawings, BOQ, site measurements and project documentation.
- Robust coordination and site-management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Important Candidates from general HVAC service, split AC or residential AC backgrounds without substantial chiller project execution experience should not apply.
