Role Description The Project Coordinator at The Chennai Silks will manage and track retail and textile-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining project documentation, preparing status reports, and supporting the implementation of recent store initiatives, merchandising plans, and process improvements. The role involves organizing meetings, following up on action items, identifying risks or delays, and escalating issues when necessary. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Tiruppur, requiring close collaboration with store operations, merchandising, logistics, and management teams.

Qualifications

- Project coordination and basic project management skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and follow-up.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in reports and records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse internal teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools (such as spreadsheets, presentations, and word processing software).
- Ability to analyze basic data, monitor project progress, and support problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience in retail, textiles, or related industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Management, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Capability to work on-site in Tiruppur, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
