WE ARE HIRING – PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL (PPC)

Position: Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and monitor production plans as per buyer delivery dates and order requirements.

- Coordinate with Merchandising, Cutting, Embroidery/Beading, Stitching, Finishing, Quality and Packing teams.
- Prepare and track T&A; (Time & Action) plans and ensure activities are completed as per planned dates and there are no cost overruns due to idle sitting of labour due to poor planning or
- Monitor BD (Bundle/Single Piece Cutting), TL (Table/Layer Cutting), stitching and finishing schedules.
- Track production status, WIP, pending quantities and bottlenecks on a daily basis.
- Ensure timely availability of fabric, trims, accessories, approved samples, patterns and other production materials.
- Follow up with concerned departments for Fit, PP, IPC, RSS, TOP and production approvals.
- Identify production delays and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions and recovery plans.
- Maintain and update production planning reports, daily production reports, order status and O2D/FMS trackers.
- Monitor planned vs. actual production,



get the supervisors/managers to deliver and highlight deviations to management.
- Coordinate with job workers/vendors wherever applicable and follow up on production commitments.
- Ensure production priorities are aligned with shipment/delivery schedules.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports for management.
- Attend production planning meetings and provide updates on order-wise status, delays and critical styles.
- Ensure proper coordination between Merchandising, PPC and Production to achieve on-time delivery.

Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of experience in PPC/Production Planning in a Garment Export House.

- Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Experience in T&A;, production planning, WIP monitoring and order tracking.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Positive knowledge of Excel/MIS/ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple styles/orders and work under delivery timelines.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
