Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible production manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at Core De Industries. The role will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining product quality and food safety standards, managing production manpower, optimising resources, and ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Execution
- Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets within scheduled timelines.
- Prepare production plans based on demand, inventory, manpower, and machine availability.
- Ensure timely completion of production batches.
- Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure all products are manufactured according to approved specifications, SOPs, quality standards, and food safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain proper batch records and production documentation.
- Production Efficiency
- Monitor production processes to maximise productivity and minimise downtime, wastage, and manufacturing losses.
- Track production efficiency, yield, rejection, wastage, and OEE.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Manpower Management
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate production staff.
- Manage manpower allocation according to production requirements.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
- Machine & Maintenance Coordination
- Monitor machine performance and production equipment.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdowns.




- Minimise production interruptions caused by equipment failures.
- Raw Material & Resource Management
- Ensure availability and efficient utilisation of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, manpower, and other production resources.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to avoid production delays.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Procurement, R&D;, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth production operations.
- Communicate production requirements and operational issues to management.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records, batch manufacturing records, production reports, inventory consumption data, and other required documentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management.
- Problem Solving & CAPA
- Investigate production issues, quality deviations, process failures, and customer complaints related to manufacturing.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, minimise wastage, improve OEE, and optimise production processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Employee Training
- Train production employees on:
- SOPs
- Food safety
- Hygiene and sanitation
- Quality standards
- Machine operation
- Workplace safety
- Company policies
- 5S & Housekeeping




- Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and protected manufacturing environment.
- New Product & Process Development
- Support R&D; and management during new product trials.
- Assist with process validation, scale-up, pilot batches, and implementation of new manufacturing processes.
- Management Support
- Provide regular updates to management regarding production performance, manpower, machinery, material requirements, quality issues, and operational challenges.
- Perform other production-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

Education:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

- 2-3 years of experience in food, beverage, FMCG, or similar manufacturing operations.
- Experience in production planning, manpower handling, batch manufacturing, quality systems, and plant operations will be preferred.
