Job Purpose

Responsible for managing end-to-end production activities in an Elevator/Lift Components Manufacturing plant, ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, optimum manpower and material utilization, and timely completion of customer orders.

The candidate must have hands-on shop-floor experience specifically in the Elevator/Lift Components Manufacturing Industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule and execute daily, weekly and monthly production activities.
- Manage complete shop-floor operations for elevator/lift component manufacturing.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planned schedules and customer delivery commitments.
- Allocate and monitor manpower, machines, materials and production resources.
- Monitor production productivity, rejection, rework, scrap, downtime and process losses.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Design, Purchase, Stores, QA/QC, Maintenance and Dispatch departments.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions and production specifications.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Handle day-to-day shop-floor problems and production-related issues.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve productivity, reduce rejection/rework/scrap and optimize manufacturing processes.




- Ensure proper machine utilization and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain proper production records, daily production reports, rejection reports and process records.
- Prepare Daily Production MIS, Monthly Production MIS and performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to company safety procedures, PPE requirements and shop-floor discipline.
- Train, guide and supervise production operators and workers.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline across the production area.
- Support current product/process development and process improvement activities.
- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of finished elevator components as per production plan.

Mandatory Industry Experience This is a STRICT mandatory requirement.

- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant production experience specifically in the Elevator/Lift Components Manufacturing Industry.
- Candidate must have worked in an Elevator/Lift Components Manufacturing company/plant.
- Direct experience in elevator/lift component manufacturing is mandatory.
- Candidates having only general production/manufacturing experience from industries such as automobile, sheet metal, fabrication, engineering, electrical, HVAC, general machinery, etc. without elevator/lift component manufacturing experience should NOT be considered.
- Candidate must have hands-on, ground-level shop-floor manufacturing experience in an elevator/lift component manufacturing environment.
- Experience should preferably include manufacturing of elevator cabins, doors, door frames, panels, brackets, frames, structural components, guide-related components, machine-room components or other lift/elevator fabricated components.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
