Role Description This is a full time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Gurgaon.

The Production

Engineer will oversee production processes for aviation-related systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring quality control, and optimizing workflows for efficiency and reliability. The role involves analyzing production data, troubleshooting issues on the shop floor and project sites, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production activities for sheet metal and heavy fabrication.
- Plan daily and monthly production schedules according to project requirements.
- Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, drilling, grinding, assembly, and finishing.
- Handle manpower, machines, materials, and production targets.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Project teams.
- Monitor production quality and minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Conduct inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot fabrication and production-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production reports, job cards, material consumption records, and other documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
- Manage shop-floor manpower and allocate work according to production priorities.

Candidate Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 6–7 years of relevant experience in sheet metal, heavy fabrication, structural fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong practical knowledge of MS/SS fabrication, welding, cutting, bending, and assembly.
- Experience handling production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to understand engineering/fabrication drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and shop-floor management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
