SCMC, Pune is looking for Production Crew/Instructors specializing in areas such as Editing, Camera, Lights, Sound, SFX, Production/Post Production and AI/VR for its Studio which produces AD films, Fiction, Non-Fiction, News Documentary, Corporate Films, Animation Films etc.

This full time role involves planning, setting up, and operating production equipment for academic and student projects, including camera rigs, lighting setups, audio recording systems, and post-production tools. Instructors will design and deliver practical sessions, workshops, and demonstrations, guiding students through industry-standard workflows and safety procedures.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising studio and location shoots, mentoring student production teams, reviewing project work, and ensuring quality standards across all stages of production. The role also requires collaborating with faculty to update curricula, integrating new technologies such as AI and VR into teaching, and maintaining production spaces and equipment in optimal working condition.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Production for organizing shoots, coordinating resources, and supporting end-to-end production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills for handling cameras, lighting rigs, sound equipment, editing systems, and relevant AI/VR tools safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should have the ability to learn new tools and technologies,



work across multiple production domains, and respond effectively to changing academic and industry needs.
- Relevant experience in film, television, digital media, or immersive technologies (AI/VR), preferably with prior teaching, training, or mentoring responsibilities.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide diverse learners and collaborate with academic and technical teams.
- Formal education in media, communication, film production, sound engineering, or related fields is beneficial; professional certifications in editing, cinematography, lighting, sound, SFX, or VR
