The Product Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and improving sales training programs for our teams to enhance their performance and align with our organisations sales goals.

This role requires a blend of in-depth knowledge of sales techniques, training best practices, and an ability to inspire and coach. The Sales Trainer will work closely with the sales team and management to ensure that training sessions are effective, engaging, and focused on achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop Sales Training Programs:

- Create structured training modules focusing on key sales skills, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer engagement.
- Regularly update training materials to align with current products, market trends, and company strategies.

1. Deliver and Facilitate Training Sessions:

- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and seasoned sales staff, including workshops, role-playing exercises, and sales simulations.
- Use interactive and innovative training techniques to ensure high engagement and knowledge retention.

1. Product Knowledge Enhancement:





- Ensure sales teams have an in-depth understanding of our products and services, including features, benefits, and differentiators.
- Collaborate with the product development team to integrate up-to-date product information into training programs.

1. Sales Techniques and Objection Handling:

- Train teams on effective sales techniques, such as consultative selling, closing strategies, and relationship building.
- Equip sales reps with techniques to handle objections professionally and turn potential challenges into sales opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales training, preferably in the education, publishing, or sales sector.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and motivational techniques.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs based on feedback and outcomes.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and virtual training tools is an asset.Role & responsibilities
