Experience Level: 5+ Years About The Role As our Product Manager - Data & AI, you'll own the journey from the data we collect to the AI-powered experiences we deliver to customers.

You'll work across product and engineering to determine what information we should collect, how it should be used, and how we can turn it into useful, reliable AI features.

This is a hands-on product role. You won't just define requirements and hand them to a technical team, you'll work with engineering to analyze AI performance, define how AI should behave, and establish the measures we use to determine whether our products are actually delivering value.

What You'll Do

- Own the Attendee Data Platform (ADP) to AI-feature value chain end-to-end, from determining what signals and data we should collect through to how that data powers customer-facing AI experiences.
- Partner closely with engineering to define the data required to build and improve AI-powered features.
- Use SQL, notebooks, and other analytical tools to run analysis, explore data, identify patterns, and answer product questions.
- Build and maintain datasets used to develop, evaluate, and improve AI features.
- Conduct error analysis on AI outputs to understand where models are performing well, where they fail, and what we can do to improve them.
- Write clear, precise product specifications that can be reliably interpreted and executed by both engineers and AI coding agents.
- Design consent, privacy, and data-use considerations as an intentional part of the product experience, not as something addressed after the fact.
- Define meaningful product and AI performance metrics and establish how we will measure success.




- Decide where AI genuinely earns its place and where a simpler, deterministic approach serves the customer just as well at a fraction of the running cost — and be able to show the reasoning behind the call.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and leadership to turn complex technical capabilities into useful customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate our AI products and data practices to identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, and customer value.

What We're Looking For

- Significant product management experience, ideally working on data-intensive, AI-powered, or technically complex products.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently work with data using SQL and notebooks.
- Experience building products where data is a core part of the product experience.
- A strong understanding of how AI systems are developed, evaluated, and improved, including experience analyzing AI errors and outputs.
- A pragmatic view of AI — you can tell the difference between a problem that needs a model and one that needs a rule, and you treat running cost as a product constraint rather than an engineering detail.
- Exceptional ability to translate ambiguous problems into explicit, precise requirements and specifications.
- Experience working closely with engineering and data teams and the ability to comfortably engage in technical discussions.
- An understanding of data privacy, consent, and responsible data use, with the ability to incorporate these considerations directly into product decisions.
- A metrics-driven approach to product management, with the ability to define meaningful measures of success.
- Strong judgment and curiosity, with a willingness to get hands-on and investigate problems yourself rather than relying entirely on others for the analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring product, technical, and business perspectives together.
