Job Title: Product Development Engineer

Experience: 2-3 years

Job Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

Department: Product Development

1. Manage technical development of plastic toy products, from concept through

production.
1. Reviewing and determining the viability of recent products/concepts
2. Develop and review 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and BOMs for plastic

components.
1. Oversee tooling development for injection-molded plastic parts in collaboration

with overseas suppliers.
1. Evaluate prototypes and engineering samples to ensure function, durability, and

aesthetic quality
1. Ensure all products comply with applicable toy safety standards (ASTM F963,

EN71, CPSIA, etc.).
1. Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFMEA reviews with crossfunctional teams.
2. Manage project schedules, track milestones, and communicate risks and

changes.

Coordinate with QA/QC to validate products through mechanical and safety

testing.
1. Support cost engineering by identifying material, tooling, and process

optimizations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
2. Experienced in injection molding.
3. Knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling.

Working Conditions Occasional travel to manufacturing plants or suppliers may be required.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
