Procurement Manager — D2C Skincare / Personal Care / Nutraceuticals

About the RoleWe're a fast-scaling D2C house running multiple brands across skincare, personal care, nutraceuticals/ayurveda, and devices — 60+ SKUs today, and growing every month. We're looking for someone who has genuinely built and run supply chains in a startup environment, ideally with a brand that scaled meaningfully — someone comfortable managing vendors, timelines, and the occasional curveball with confidence and ownership.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain
- Startup experience, ideally having been part of a brand's growth journey — from a small SKU set to a fuller catalog
- Solid experience with third-party/contract manufacturing — including sourcing packaging materials (bottles, labels, monocartons, and other components needed to get a finished product ready)
- China procurement experience, specifically for personal care devices (electronic and non-electronic) — this is an important requirement for the role
- Good understanding of personal care and nutraceutical/ayurveda categories — formulations, claims, and vendor landscapes
- Strong negotiation skills — comfortable pushing for better pricing and terms
- An existing vendor network — across manufacturing and packaging (PM), so you can hit the ground running




- Experience launching positive-quality products — you've seen products through from sourcing to shelf, with quality that held up

Nice to Have
- Hands-on understanding of manufacturing processes (formulation, filling, device assembly) — not required, but a definite plus

What You'll DoVendor sourcing & negotiation

- Build and manage our third-party manufacturing base across India and China — skincare, personal care, nutra/ayurveda, and personal care devices
- Source and manage packaging material (PM) vendors — bottles, labels, monocartons, and related components
- Lead China sourcing for personal care devices — vendor vetting, sampling, pricing negotiation, and import logistics
- Bring your existing vendor relationships and network to help us move quickly

Launch support

- Help ensure new product launches aren't held back by sourcing timelines
- Support fast, quality-first launches across categories

Inventory planning

- Partner with Ops and Factory on a regular inventory planning cadence to avoid stock-outs, especially during festive/high-demand periods

Cost & quality

- Work on continuously improving landed cost without compromising quality
- Maintain strong vendor accountability on quality and delivery

Travel

- Willingness to travel across North India for factory visits, vendor meetings, and quality checks
