Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Procurement Officer at Taxcart.

The Procurement

Officer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing vendors, requesting and reviewing quotes, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. The role involves negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

Officer will collaborate with finance, operations, and product teams to forecast needs, optimize costs, and ensure timely availability of goods and services. The individual will also support process improvements,



compliance with internal controls, and continuous refinement of procurement practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Procurement and Purchasing skills to manage sourcing, vendor selection, and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess experience with Purchase Orders and related documentation to ensure accurate and compliant transactions.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate supplier performance, and support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technology or SaaS environments, and familiarity with global vendors or tax-related services, is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities, with capacity to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team.
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP software and standard office productivity tools.
