Key Responsibilities :

- Own architecture and solution design for complex, business-critical platforms.
- Design and build highly scalable, distributed, and resilient systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across backend engineering and system architecture.
- Develop and optimize enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring.
- Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Drive performance engineering, scalability, resilience, and failure-handling strategies.
- Establish production readiness standards across reliability, monitoring, diagnostics, and operational processes.
- Design observability solutions and support production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Work across multiple technology stacks and system layers, including application, messaging, data, and platform layers.
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and architectural patterns for complex business requirements.
- Contribute to Generative AI, LLM, and RAG-based solutions.
- Work with cloud and containerized environments across heterogeneous technology deployments.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, platform, and business stakeholders to drive architecture decisions.
- Ensure systems meet requirements for security, availability, scalability, and operational readiness.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- Significant experience designing and building distributed systems at scale.
- Proven experience owning architecture and design for complex, business-critical platforms.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Deep understanding of performance engineering, scalability, resilience, and failure-handling mechanisms.
- Strong experience with observability, production diagnostics, and operational readiness.
- Experience working across multiple technology stacks and system layers.
- Familiarity with cloud and containerized environments.
- Robust problem-solving, system-design, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate :

- Experience in payments or financial services, particularly real-time processing or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG solutions.
- Experience working across heterogeneous market or technology deployments.
- Strong background in enterprise-scale backend engineering and architecture.
