Role: Principal AI Architect / Principal GenAI Architect
Location: Bengaluru
Role SummaryWe are looking for a Principal AI Architect to lead the architecture, design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions. The role will own the end-to-end AI architecture spanning LLMs, RAG, AI agents, cloud platforms, data, MLOps/LLMOps, security, governance and enterprise integration.The architect will work closely with CTOs, business leaders, engineering teams and enterprise architects to convert business problems into scalable, secure and production-ready AI solutions. Current enterprise AI architect roles commonly emphasize GenAI/Agentic AI, cloud AI platforms, RAG, governance, observability and multi-cloud architecture.
Leadership Requirements
- Robust experience working with CTO/CIO/CDO and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead architecture decisions across multiple teams.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience leading AI transformation programs.
- Ability to mentor architects and senior engineers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience presenting AI architecture, PoCs and technology strategy to clients/executives.
Preferred Experience
- 16+ years overall IT experience
- 4+ years in AI/ML/GenAI architecture
- Experience delivering enterprise production GenAI solutions
- Experience with Agentic AI / Multi-Agent systems
- Experience in multi-cloud architecture
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture exposure.
- Experience in BFSI, Fintech, Insurance, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking is an advantage.
