Company Description Ishara International Preschool is a carefully designed early learning environment where young children are encouraged to explore, question, and grow with confidence. The preschool integrates the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to support holistic development beyond academic readiness. Learning is rooted in play-based experiences, STEM exploration, creativity, movement, and social-emotional development to nurture curiosity, independence, and communication skills.

Classrooms and shared spaces are intentionally created to be warm, stimulating, protected, and child-friendly, allowing children to learn through discovery while feeling secure and supported.

Role Description The Pre-primary Teacher will plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences that align with the preschool’s curriculum and philosophy, including play-based and experiential activities.

Responsibilities include designing daily lesson plans, guiding children through foundational literacy and numeracy, and integrating STEM, art, movement, and social-emotional learning into classroom routines. The teacher will observe and document children’s progress, share regular updates with families,



and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a consistent and supportive learning environment. Duties also involve ensuring child safety, managing classroom behavior positively, preparing learning materials, and contributing to school events and parent engagement initiatives.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess experience in Teaching and Elementary Education, with a strong understanding of early childhood learning and development.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education to plan, implement, and adapt engaging pre-primary learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with preschool or pre-primary age children in a classroom or early learning setting.
- Ability to create inclusive, child-centered environments that support diverse learning needs.
- Strong classroom management, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Familiarity with play-based learning approaches, EYFS, or NEP 2020-aligned practices is an advantage.
