Role Description The Policy Consultant will provide expert guidance on health policy and related public affairs initiatives for clients across sectors, translating complex policy landscapes into clear strategies and narratives. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing legislation and regulatory developments, preparing policy briefs and recommendations, supporting communication strategies that reflect policy positions, and engaging with internal teams to align messaging with policy objectives.



The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand their goals, conducting research and data-driven analysis, and contributing to proposals and presentations that drive client outcomes.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate policy insights into Set Narrative’s broader strategic communications work.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable policy insights.
- Demonstrated experience in health policy, public policy, or related fields, with a solid understanding of regulatory and legislative environments.
- Proficiency in consulting practices, including problem-solving, client advisory, and strategy development.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal expression tailored to diverse audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and consensus-building across varied groups.
- Relevant academic background such as Public Policy, Health Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or government relations is an advantage.
