Roles and Responsibilities

- Design and execute plumbing systems, including domestic water supply, drainage, sewage, and stormwater systems.

- Prepare and review plumbing layouts, shop drawings, and isometric drawings using AutoCAD.

- Perform hydraulic calculations for pipe sizing, water demand, and drainage systems.

- Supervise plumbing installation work and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, civil, and architectural teams to resolve site-related issues.

- Prepare BOQs, material takeoffs, and material requisitions.

- Inspect plumbing materials and verify compliance with approved technical specifications.

- Conduct pressure testing, leakage testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of plumbing activities.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and applicable plumbing codes.

- Prepare inspection requests, daily progress reports,



and as-built drawings.

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.

- Identify and resolve technical issues related to plumbing installation.

- Support project handover by preparing testing reports and as-built documentation.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of plumbing system design and execution.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Knowledge of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.

- Understanding of plumbing materials, fittings, valves, and pumps.

- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and material estimation.

- Familiarity with plumbing testing and commissioning procedures.

- Valuable coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
