Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Plumber to join our Engineering Department.

Seven Seas Hotel is an upscale luxury hotel in Rohini, New Delhi, featuring 100 plush guest rooms, extensive banqueting and wedding spaces (over 100,000 sq. ft.), fine-dining restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, and wellness amenities. We are dedicated to delivering world-class hospitality and seamless operational excellence to every guest.

Role & responsibilities

1. Plumbing Maintenance & Installation

- Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, sewage networks, valves, and fittings across guest rooms, public areas, banquet halls, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
- Regularly inspect sanitary fixtures, toilets, showers, bathtubs, washbasins, and water heaters to prevent leaks and ensure flawless operation.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Execute routine preventive maintenance schedules for water pumps, pressure booster systems, hydro-pneumatic systems, water filtration plants, and RO systems.
- Promptly diagnose and fix plumbing emergencies (e.g., pipe bursts, severe clogs,



overflowing drains, water supply issues) with minimal disruption to hotel operations or guests.

3. Drain Cleaning & Inventory

- Explicit blocked drains, grease traps, and sewer lines using appropriate tools and mechanical equipment.
- Monitor stock levels of essential plumbing spare parts (pipes, gaskets, washers, valves, sealants) and report requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.

4. Safety & Compliance

- Follow safe work practices, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure safe handling of drain-cleaning chemicals.
- Coordinate smoothly with Housekeeping and F&B; teams to resolve any room or outlet maintenance complaints swiftly.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: ITI certificate in Plumbing or equivalent technical training from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on plumbing experience, preferably within a 4-star or 5-star hotel, large commercial property, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Soft Skills: Good interpersonal communication skills; polite, clean-cut, and professional demeanor when entering guest spaces.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operational demands.
