Electrical Wiring & PLC Programmer – Responsibilities

- Electrical Panel Wiring
- Electrical panel assembly and wiring as per electrical drawings.
- Wiring of PLC panels, control panels, MCC panels, and machine control panels.
- Wiring of contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, SMPS, sensors, solenoid valves, VFDs, servo drives, and other electrical components.
- Proper cable routing, ferruling, termination, and labeling.
- Machine Electrical Wiring
- Machine-side electrical wiring and connection of motors, sensors, switches, actuators, and control devices.
- Installation and termination of control and power cables.
- Check continuity, insulation, polarity, and proper grounding.
- PLC Programming
- Develop and modify PLC programs for conveyors, machines, and automation systems.
- Create machine sequences, interlocks, timers, counters, alarms, and safety logic.
- Configure PLC I/O and troubleshoot input/output-related issues.
- HMI Programming
- Develop and modify HMI screens.
- Configure machine parameters, alarms, counters, status indications, and operator controls.
- Interface HMI with PLC and other automation equipment.
- Drive & Automation Integration
- Configure and commission VFDs, servo drives, sensors, encoders, and other automation devices.
- Establish PLC communication with VFDs, robots, weighing systems,



vision systems, and other equipment where required.
- Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct panel testing and machine electrical testing.
- Perform I/O checking and dry-run testing.
- Commission machines at the company and customer sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical and PLC-related problems during commissioning.
- Troubleshooting & Service
- Identify and rectify electrical, PLC, HMI, sensor, VFD, and control-system faults.
- Attend customer breakdown and service requirements when required.
- Provide technical support during machine operation.
- Documentation
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and panel drawings.
- Prepare I/O lists and update electrical/PLC documentation.
- Maintain proper backups of PLC, HMI, and drive programs.
- Maintain project-wise software and electrical documentation.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Design, Production, and Project teams.
- Understand machine requirements and implement the required electrical and automation systems.
- Support projects from panel wiring through final commissioning.

Suitable designation: Electrical & PLC Automation Engineer or Electrical Wiring & PLC Programmer.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
