Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Pune City for Mechanical Engineers specializing in plastic and seating domain, PMO, and design. The role involves participating in the design and development of plastic components and seating systems for automotive applications, including concept creation, 3D modeling, and detail design using CAD tools.

Team members will support PMO activities such as project planning, tracking deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation for design and development projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting engineering analyses, supporting design reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards,



and collaborating with manufacturing and suppliers to address feasibility and quality issues. The role also includes contributing to improvement initiatives, optimizing designs for cost and performance, and providing technical input throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate design options, perform engineering calculations, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and to prepare clear technical documentation and reports.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to support cost estimation, monitor project costs, and contribute to value engineering and VAVE initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in plastic component and seating design for automotive applications.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (such as CATIA, NX, or similar), knowledge of GD&T;, manufacturing processes for plastics and seating systems, and familiarity with automotive standards are beneficial.
- Ability to work systematically in a PMO environment, manage multiple projects, and adhere to timelines and quality requirements is highly valued.
