Role Description The Plant Head is a full time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for overall leadership and management of the manufacturing plant. This role oversees daily plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and coordination among departments to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.

The Plant

Head ensures adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in processes and productivity. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production performance, managing budgets and cost efficiency, resolving operational issues, mentoring plant teams, and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives and capacity planning.



The role also involves maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships to support reliable supply of components.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in plant operations and production management, with the ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Strong skills in production planning and scheduling to optimize resources, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- Experience with quality control, including establishing and monitoring quality standards, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control, with a focus on efficiency, waste reduction, and profitability.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team management, performance coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing or passive electronic components is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
