We are looking for a Plant Head to lead our cylinder valve manufacturing operation covering brass forging, CNC machining, assembly and testing, and to deliver to automotive OEM standards on quality, delivery, cost and safety.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
▪ Lead plant operations across forging, CNC machining, assembly and testing
▪ Plan and deliver production against customer schedules
▪ Drive OEE, yield, scrap, cost per part and on-time delivery
▪ Lead capacity additions: equipment selection, installation and commissioning
▪ Build, train and lead teams across production, maintenance, stores, planning and EHS
▪ Work with Quality on PPAP, customer audits and approvals
▪ Own safety, 5S, lean practices, maintenance and plant compliance, and report performance to top management
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
▪ B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
▪ 10–20 years in automotive component manufacturing, including 5 years heading a plant or major production unit
▪ Hands-on experience in hot brass forging and high-volume precision CNC machining
▪ Experience with valves, regulators, fittings or other pressure and fluid-control components is a strong plus
▪ Experience commissioning current lines or capacity expansions
▪ Background in an IATF 16949 plant supplying passenger-vehicle OEMs
