Role Description This is a full-time Planning Procurement role based in Vijayanagara with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves planning and managing procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services aligned with production and project schedules.

Key responsibilities include creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, and evaluating suppliers on quality, cost, and delivery performance. The position also requires supporting contract negotiations, maintaining procurement documentation, monitoring market trends and price movements, and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes.



Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid procurement and purchase order management skills, including experience in planning, creating, and monitoring Purchase Orders and overall Procurement activities.
- Candidates should possess supplier evaluation and relationship management skills, including Supplier Evaluation and performance monitoring to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Candidates should possess contract management capabilities, including experience in Contract Negotiation and an understanding of commercial terms and risk mitigation.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, cost analysis, demand forecasting, and process optimization.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or heavy industry, preferably steel or metals, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel or similar tools for procurement and data analysis is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
