Role Description This is a full-time, in office Piping Engineer role based in Kochi.

The Piping

Engineer will be responsible for developing piping layouts and designs, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with process, mechanical, civil, and structural teams to ensure integrated project execution. Daily tasks include performing engineering calculations, assisting in stress analysis of piping systems,



selecting pipe materials and components, and supporting design reviews and technical documentation. The role also involves collaborating with project managers and clients, resolving technical issues during design and construction, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, industry codes, and company quality procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Piping Design and Piping layout, including familiarity with industry standards and codes.
- Hands-on experience with Pipe sizing, routing, material selection, and related engineering practices.
- Ability to perform engineering Calculations and basic Stress Analysis for piping systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience working on industrial or process plant projects, preferably in consulting or EPC environments.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and 2D/3D CAD tools used for piping engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety considerations.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
