About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor to support Ayurvedic product development, formulation, ingredient evaluation, R&D; coordination, and the validation of Ayurvedic claims and content. The role also supports our range of Panchgavya, medicinal, personal care, and wellness products.

Qualifications (Required)

- Ph.D. (Ayurveda), M.D. (Ayurved), or B.A.M.S. from a recognized university
- Valid registration with the State Board / NCISM (Central Council of Indian Medicine)

Key Responsibilities Product Development & Formulation

- Develop and refine Ayurvedic formulations for medicinal, personal care, wellness, and Panchgavya products
- Select ingredients and set proportions based on classical Ayurvedic texts and principles
- Guide formulation of product formats such as churna, vati, taila, ghrita, arishta/asava, and cosmetics

Ingredient Evaluation

- Evaluate herbs, raw materials, and Panchgavya ingredients for quality, authenticity, and therapeutic suitability
- Advise on sourcing standards, shelf life, and storage requirements
- Review ingredient specifications with reference to the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India (API)

R&D; Coordination

- Work with the R&D; team on new product development, from concept to launch
- Support stability, efficacy, and pilot batch trials
- Maintain formulation records and R&D; documentation

Claims & Content Validation

- Validate product claims, labels, packaging text,



and marketing content for scientific and classical accuracy
- Ensure claims comply with regulations and do not mislead consumers
- Provide classical text references (Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Bhavaprakasha, etc.) to support claims

Stakeholder Coordination

- Hold regular coordination meetings with the R&D; and management teams
- Train internal sales and marketing teams on product knowledge when required

Good to Have

- Experience in Ayurvedic pharmaceutical, FMCG, or nutraceutical product development
- Knowledge of Panchgavya Chikitsa and gau-based products
- Specialization in Dravyaguna, Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, or Kayachikitsa
- Research publications or clinical research experience
- Knowledge of modern analytical methods such as HPTLC, phytochemical analysis, and standardization
- Experience writing or reviewing scientific or consumer-facing health content
- Awareness of international herbal regulations (US FDA, EU, etc.) for export products

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts and formulations
- Analytical and research-oriented approach
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi (a regional language is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams
- Attention to detail in documentation and compliance
