– International Patient Coordinator

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused International Patient Coordinator to manage and coordinate the complete patient journey for international patients seeking medical treatment in India.
The candidate will act as a key point of contact between international patients, hospitals, doctors, medical teams, travel partners, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience from initial enquiry through treatment and post-treatment coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from international patients regarding medical treatments, procedures, hospitals, doctors, and treatment packages.
- Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, and medical teams to arrange consultations, appointments, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
- Communicate with patients and their attendants through phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand patient requirements and provide appropriate information regarding treatment options, estimated costs, hospital facilities, and related services.
- Coordinate medical documents, reports, prescriptions, and other patient information with the concerned medical teams.
- Assist international patients with appointment scheduling and treatment-related coordination.
- Coordinate airport transfers, local transportation, accommodation, and other patient-support services whenever required.
- Maintain regular communication with patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Coordinate with internal teams for visa-related, travel, accommodation, and other supporting requirements, wherever applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records, follow-up details, and communication history.
- Follow up with patients regarding consultations, treatment confirmations, payments, and post-treatment requirements.
- Resolve patient queries and coordinate with the relevant departments to address concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, hospitals, doctors, and other service providers.
- Prepare regular updates/reports on patient enquiries, conversions, appointments, and ongoing cases.
- Occasionally visit hospitals, clinics, hotels, airports, or other locations for patient coordination and operational requirements.
Travel / Visit Requirement The role may require occasional local visits to hospitals, clinics, hotels, airports, or other locations for patient coordination and support.
For approved official visits
- Company cab service may be provided, wherever available and applicable; or
- Travel allowance/reimbursement will be provided as per company policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in International Patient Coordination, Medical Tourism, Hospital Coordination, Healthcare Operations, Customer Relationship Management, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good command of English; knowledge of additional foreign languages will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with international patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using MS Office, email, WhatsApp, CRM, and other basic business tools.
- Ability to handle multiple patients/cases simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel locally whenever required for official work.
