Unicel Greens
Delhi
About us: Unicel Greens is a fast-growing cleantech company building a closed-loop system for critical materials in India. We recycle end-of-life lithium-ion batteries and recover lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, copper, aluminium and graphite. These materials go back into manufacturing, so that what comes out of a battery goes into the next one. This reduces India's dependence on imported minerals.
We run an integrated model that goes from collection to recovery. Through a collection network across multiple Indian cities, we source directly from OEMs, battery manufacturers, EV companies, dealers and aggregators. Every battery is then processed safely and responsibly at our own recycling facility. We also help OEMs and battery producers meet their end-of-life and compliance obligations under India's Battery Waste Management Rules.
The Opportunity In battery recycling, the strongest companies are built on partnerships. OEMs, EV manufacturers and battery companies now carry the responsibility for what happens to their batteries at the end of their life. Deciding who they trust with that responsibility is a strategic choice, not a transactional one. The recyclers who win will be the ones who build lasting, credible relationships with the companies driving India's EV and energy transition.
As Manager, Strategic Partnerships & OEM Alliances, you'll build and own these relationships at Unicel Greens. You'll identify and develop partnerships with OEMs, EV manufacturers, battery companies, dealers, distributors and corporate partners a mix of organised and unorganised. You'll lead the discussions, negotiations and onboarding, and work with our sourcing, operations, legal and finance teams to turn agreements into working partnerships.
You'll represent Unicel Greens in boardrooms, at industry events and in conversations with CXOs. You'll be the person who understands what each partner needs, how to structure a deal that works for both sides, and how to grow it into a long-term alliance. We are looking for a thick skinned person who can close deals at a fast pace and has an ownership mindset.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build strategic partnerships. Identify, develop and manage partnerships with OEMs, EV manufacturers, battery manufacturers, dealers, distributors and corporate clients.
- Generate new business. Create current B2B opportunities through strategic alliances. Turn partner relationships into consistent business for Unicel Greens.
- Own key relationships. Build long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, including CXOs, procurement heads and senior management.
- Lead negotiations and onboarding. Coordinate partnership discussions, structure commercial terms, negotiate agreements and manage partner onboarding from start to finish.
- Pitch and present. Run meetings, presentations and follow-ups with prospective partners, and clearly communicate how Unicel Greens adds value to their business.
- Drive execution across teams. Work with the sourcing, operations, legal and finance teams so that every partnership is delivered smoothly after signing.
- Manage the pipeline.
Track the partnership pipeline in CRM, and maintain regular MIS reports on progress, conversions and partner performance.
- Represent the company. Represent Unicel Greens at industry events, conferences, exhibitions and client meetings across India.
- Spot new opportunities. Research the market and identify new collaboration opportunities across the battery recycling, EV and circular economy ecosystem.
Who We're Looking For
- You have entrepreneurial experience. You've run your own startup, worked in a family business or built a venture of your own, so you understand what it takes to win customers and grow a business.
- You understand how B2B deals come together. You know the pitch, the follow-ups and the relationship-building that turn a conversation into a signed partnership.
- You bring relevant industry exposure. You've worked with OEMs, EV companies, battery manufacturers or large B2B clients, and you have a network of decision-makers you can reach.
- You value trust over titles. In this industry, credibility and long-term relationships matter more than designations.
- You're comfortable in any room. You can hold your own in a CXO meeting and just as easily handle a dealer's concerns on the ground.
- You're a sharp negotiator. You can structure deals that work for both sides, and you know when to hold firm.
- You bring practical knowledge and drive. Hustle and a real understanding of the industry matter more to us than formal credentials.
- You're resilient. A "no" doesn't slow you down, and you prefer closing deals over endless follow-ups.
- You take ownership. You'll manage strategic accounts with the same commitment as if they were your own business.
